Due to an accident, I had to cancel my participation in “Schneewitchen und die 77 Zwerge” at the Komische Oper Berlin. Happily, I will be back on stage again in December in Hansel und Gretel also at the Komische Oper Berlin!
“The staging (of The Raven) offers a showcase for two impressive artists, especially the vocally plush, dramatically courageous Ms. Brillembourg.”

MUSINGS ON ART, CREATIVITY, AND COMMUNICATION
The world of opera has been leaping off the stage, carving out its own colorful spot in the online landscape. After years of working in traditional formats of opera and classical music, I’m excited to join in and take the digital plunge. The versatility of video serves as just the right medium to share my experience, allow glimpses behind the scenes, record my own creative transformation, and explore new ways of communicating and collaborating.
As a viewer, I am moved by art that is honest and personal. As an artist I’m compelled to keep questioning, take risks, and push personal boundaries. It is at this juncture that I am finding my unique voice as an “eclectic communicator”. In my video blog I will investigate genres beyond my own familiar world of opera, share work by artists I find inspiring, and “muse” on the many art forms, venues, and collaborators my voice may find along the way.
“A thought, even a possibility, can shatter and transform us.”
– Friedrich Nietzsche
